One
of the busiest and most well respected lead and
commercial trumpet players in Canada. Recently,
Paul performed the Gil Evans/Miles Davis suite
of "Porgy and Bess" under the baton
of the eminent jazz authority Gunther Schuller.
His energetic performance is also evident in recordings,
numerous movie and TV tracks, commercials, shows
and different kinds of teachings. |

Paul
plays the JTR-1602S-SSB2 trumpet, the JFH-846RL
flugel horn, the Jupiter Pocket and Slide trumpets,
and also performs on piccolo trumpet. His recommended
instruments are the JTR-1602S-SSB2 trumpet and
the JFH-846RL flugel horn. |

fifteen years David played the first woodwind
chair of Toronto's largest theatre, the O'Keefe
Centre. He was asked for by the returning conductors
of Broadway productions. Recent highlights of
his career include performing at the Berne Switzerland
Jazz Festival with Peter Appleyard and opening
for the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival, for three
years running. |
