1.

Clean and dry the mouthpiece before putting it into the case.

2. When it is necessary to lubricate the valves, apply valve oil using the following procedure:
Step1  Lubricate only one valve at a time.
Step2  Carefully unscrew the top valve cap, and partially remove the valve from the casing.
Step3  Apply a few drops of valve oil to the valve surface.
Step4 Insert the valve back into the casing. Turn the valve slightly to ensure the valve guide is properly locked into position.
Step5 Carefully screw on the top valve cap and depress the valve several times to evenly distribute the lubricant.
Step6  Repeat steps 1-5 for the remaining valves.
3.

When lubricating rotary valves, apply rotary oil using the following procedure:
Step1  Depress the rotor lever while pulling out the tuning slide.
Step2 Apply a few drops of rotary oil into the valve side of the tuning slide and depress the rotor lever several times to evenly distribute the lubricant.

4.

When lubricating tuning slides, apply slide grease using the following procedure:
Step1  Depress the valves or rotor lever while pulling out the tuning slide.
Step2  Remove excess moisture from the tuning slides and wipe the lubricated areas clean with a soft cloth.
Step3  Apply a small amount of slide grease to each slide assembly and reassemble.

5.

Each tuning slide should be cleaned and lubricated on a regular basis.

6.

After lubrication, if the valves do not work smoothly, carefully remove and inspect each valve for dirt and residue. Also, examine the valve and valve casing for possible dents.

7.

Use the included cloth to remove fingerprints and protect the finish.

What else should I pay attention to?
1.

Do not force the mouthpiece into the receiver. Insert with only a gentle twist.

2.

Note that each valve is individually numbered to match the numbered valve casings.

3.

When putting the valves back into the valve casing, make sure to properly align the valve guide into the valve guide slot.

4.

Do not place the instrument on a chair, desk or anywhere it could fall. After playing, return the instrument to its case.

5.

For adjustments or repairs, take your instrument to a qualified technician or authorized dealer. Never attempt to repair any musical instrument yourself.
